KOCCA (Korean Creative Content Agency) is a Korean government agency whose main responsibilities involve managing, operating, and developing content creation fields. Supporting and producing creative content for businesses and training resources, as well as assisting in the implementation of cultural projects, films, games, K-pop, fashion, cartoons,...
Since 2000, KOCCA has established overseas offices based on the Korean government's funding, and they have expanded 8 representative offices in 7 countries internationally. The United States, China, France, Japan, Indonesia, a branch in the UEA, Vietnam, and an office in Thailand will open shortly.
The goal is to become an organization specializing in the promotion and development of content creation while spreading noteworthy value and interest in life to everyone. For that reason, KOCCA selected Vietnam as the first market in Asia to create its creative content.
"Vietnam is a country with a large young population, the highest percentage of phone users in Southeast Asia, significant investment in education, as well as major growth potential in the internet, games, and fashion markets. As such, the potential for the development of creative content initiatives in Vietnam is enormous," said KOCCA General Director.
For the first time ever, KOCCA is bringing their successful “Korea Character Licensing Fair” from Korea to Binh Duong, Vietnam. This Fair will be joined by the Learn & Play Festival 2023 from WTC Binh Duong New City, which will create an undeniably exciting event this September.
